My FD is reaching 75k for mileage and so far i nvr encounter this problem b4. Only recently. I used to googled around and some ppl advice it could be due to TPS is failing off. Any1 try replacing the tps and is the prolem resolve?

After a while i just think its probably always been there and i just noticed more when i started paying attention to it. Now i just make sure that i step harder on the pedal when i want some oomph. Throttle controller would be nice but i cant justify 300-400 price tag for just that!
I now have put in a k&n drop in airfilter i must say it has made quite a difference in terms of low down torque and response
Next thing i am thinking about is wether to remove the resonator or find someway to shorten the stock air intake..
Thanks above for the links. Those prices are much better.
I've been using K&N drop in filter for the pass years n the performance is gd. Only recently my throttle seems to be not responsive. But my problem only obvious when i drive for >30mins. I will get my mechanic to check on the TPS sensor n cable. Most probably i will not hesitate to replace it if any sign of worn off. Btw, im using pivot raisin throttle control oso.
there is one that is an exact lookalike to teh pivot e-throttle going under the brandname 'shadow'
I have one, and it's fine, just saying to support quality as preferred to copies.
duffy how much was it to install the throttle controller? thinking of getting one myself
^ DIY it :)
it's like a 5 minute job
unplug the accelerator signal cable and plug that box in between, then find a place to mount it?
A plug into the OBD port, an adapter plug into the plug ontop of the accelerator pedal, and then tuck the wiring away.
