nah its d16a3, im pretty sure. isnt the d16a3 basically the same as a zc - 1.6 DOHC 16 valve 4 banger - just different timing and manifold??? bit stronger internals and isnt vaccum advacnce like our tegs? zc is 130 hp (electronic advance) and our tegs are 125hp (both brown and black top and both vaccum advance), but usa has 113 hp browntop (vaccum advance) and the 118 hp black top (their black top is electronic advance)

series 1 G1 tegs(86-87) came with brown tops, series 2 G1 tegs (87-89) came with black tops
spot a series 2 - bigger front bumper blinkers with driving lights in clear as opposed to smaller orange series one blinkers.
im sure power windows & steer came standard with series 2.
Dash also changed - cluster surround is rounder & centre air vents are horizontal
also hubcaps came as standard in 2, series 1 has alloys
