Was that with extractors as well?Quote:

If you're interested at all... the DC2 Type-R has 2.25" exhaust from the factory, and I heard that some parts actually might go into 2" although the majority of it is 2.25"
hm..like son said i beleive 2.5" is the best for the teg.,.
to quote the integra info bible.. teamintegra
i'd recommend 2.25" straight through..Quote:
Most Integra owners have 1.8L engines with "bolt-ons only". You may want to look for a 2 1/4 in. diameter exhaust to start off with. If you begin to think about big lift-long duration cams, bigger 2.5 in. collector headers, headwork, or boring out to get 2 L displacement, then go up to the next levels in diameter as determined by your power goal.
2-1/4" up to 210HP @ the flywheel (about 180-185 whp)
2-3/8" (60mm) up to 235HP @ the flywheel (about 200-207 whp)
2-1/2" up to 265HP @ the flywheel (about 225-235 whp)
yeh phorte is right
if u wanna get heaps more power gains later
get 2.5
if u just gonna do bolt on mods 2.25 is enough 2
2.5 has extra 2 kw ova 2.25 from my frens dyno reading
depends on if ur gonna mod car more later down the track
gotta love team integra...
there's roughly 1/4 of a bees dick in it between the two- when talking cat backs and stock cat and header anyway.
thats right..
and i dunno what other ppl are saying about all these friggin power gains.. the power gain you'd get from a friggin header/exhaust upgrade on a n/a card is veryveryvery minimal..
the difference between 2.25" and 2.5" is extremely small. i couldn't feel it in terms of seat of the pants. however, the difference between 2.25" or 2.5" and stock is very noticable.
i'll have to take my car back to hill motorsport in pennant hills to give you a dyno chart, but others in the states are pulling ~10-15 whp depending on the exhaust system.
hehe its loud with 2.25 as well
haha
