True.. But how much dosh do u want to spend to make it faster then a Euro R... The Euro R is much more lighter then the Auspec Euro's and comes standard with LSD...Quote:

I'd say for race track applications, the Euro R is nice. But for the road, all you need is the LSD and upgraded brakes, then you are already beating the Euro R based on drivability. Of course, I like the seats on the Euro R, and we can't fit that without infringing on the safety ADR.
yeh but for that same reason they would decide against selling type R here, most new car buyers (buying new cars not new at buying cars) dont mod them :DQuote:

they are still being made in japan. Only honda Australia won't bring them down under anymore.
ello peoples,
dont get me wrong the euro r looks great no arguement there, the reason why i dont see the point in the euro jdm r is mainly because they stuck basically the jdm integra r motor in it and gear box,lsd as well, main disadvantage is weight in the euro v integra having own an dc2 r trust me in the long term theres nothing wrong with sacficing a bit performance for everyday drivabilty especially in sydney where the roads are crap...
however that being said if they stuck the 2.4 litre and blue printed the motor in the jdm r my opinon on this matter is totally differrent and i would want one bad...
infact i think the last jdm euro r was a blue printed 2.2 prelude motor which i think makes more senses they what they did this time round which sadly never made it out here like mosts of the r's....
(gotta love best motoring japan dvd's)
yeah the last euro R was a blueprinted H22. There was no chance for that one cuz we didn't even get the japanese version of the accord for that model run. we got the american one (and now we have both)
the one before that, the SiR-T, was a F20B.

the euro r with the h22 is an older car
yeah i know- but it's still cool! :D I love the shape of it. i wanted to import one... no one would know what it was!! Ha ha.
I felt the same way about the jdm integra dc2 R, the current model civic r from uk would great for honda oz to bring over but that will never happen...
dont see why not though people would def buy it, u would have a quick point to point hatch back, back seats fold down fully and I would able to actually buy something from ikea and take it away same day without paying 85 bucks for delievery but thats another story....
LOL, nasty Ikea experience? :D
