Its always been "drive normal and avoid overloading/slipping the clutch" for 500kms then it will be fine.

Yeah I never heard of dumping it to bed in before

Apparently it can ruin the flywheel surface

You do this and you will void your manufacturers warranty.

This is unsafe practice and should not be done.

This. Ben did my install about a year or so ago and it still runs strong. I got an organic clutch and sports flywheel off of ebay (exedy) and they are both great. Plenty of bite in those clutches!
