Ahh sweet.
I was wondering if anyone can help me,
I've only had my car a few days and just noticed this on my car bonnet. I always pretty much park undercover when possible but it seems like something corrosive has been dropped on my bonnet. There's about 5-6 of these 'drops' and it looks like the paint is cracking.. :(

What can I do!?
It's not very visible unless you're looking out for it but it looks like it'd get progressively worse.
daaaaaaam bat shit.
The pic makes it look worse than it is.. But it still will get worse! And it's not any type of poop cause it would have been like a layer of poop on it.
I had something similar, the clear coat had been etched. No amount of polishes helped. I got a sanding bar 2000 grit. Lightly did it then used meguiars 105m polish compound. Came out excellent.
Got super glu on my bonnet trim too recently, did the dame method.
Try at your own risk however.
yes u are removing the clear cloat but I did it lightly, im sure not much would have been taken off. It only has a certain thikness to it. Unless you have been buffing out your car frequently I wouldnt worry about it as such. There is some sort of tool I think that measure the thickness. I was hesitant at first but I tried it, willing to risk it and it worked out beautifully. I tested on some paint chips too, filled them in and sanded it after, result was very good.
Pleaase remove the Essendon Chrysler /Jeep number plate holders,as they makr the car look second hand...
Maybee replace with Essendon Honda number plate holders ???

Should carbon fibre dip your bonnet.
