Are you talking about the castrol edge 5w30??

I have used both 10W40 & 15W50 in F20C engines. The 10W40 at times can still burn off at a fairly alarming rate, which is why I recommended the 15W50. Also, with the hot Australian summers we have, there is no harm in running a slightly thicker engine oil

Redline shockproof is a no in the gearbox unless you change it every 6 months. It gums up and causes hard shifts as it ages. I find either Penrite or elf tranself synthese to be the best for S2K boxes. LSD (friction modified) oil in a Torsen diff is unnecessary, just use a nice 75w90 gl5 in the diff. I think they take 0.9L from the top of my head. Also check out our dimple magnetic drain plugs to keep your fluids super clean (see trader section)!

I would recommend the following (all Penrite products):

Engine: 10 Tenths Racing 15W50
Gearbox: Pro Gear 75W85
Rear Diff: Pro Gear 75W90
Brake fluid: Super DOT4 or Racing Super DOT4
Coolant: 6 year long life

You will find that the price of all of these will be significantly cheaper than the Motul range. Penrite products are made in Australia, for Australian conditions. Also their oils have a much lower sheer rate (their 10 Tenths Racing engine oil is sheer free) than the Motul products, meaning they keep the rated viscosity longer, which in turns protects better

do penrite even have a 5 or 10w30?

i recall they have mostly high viscosities.

Seems like s2ki likes to use 0-5w30 :/

Not a clue. Not using 15w50 though lol

Penrite have a 5W30 in their 10 Tenths Racing range
