ive had both, id go for a eg, can put dc2r parts, on the eks its harder to find ek9 parts plus more expensive I guess

Thats true ls, is that the only reason to pick a eg because of the dc2r parts? :) or were there other things?
i went an EG as its lighter (though i found one with ITR bits already)
Have both, the ek is way more reliable in comparison to the eg. Of course it's a b series v d series.
Fuel will depend on how you drive, both my cars use about the same 450-500 a tank.
You'll probably find part in more abundance with an eg, with being able to fit normal crappy eg stuff and dc2r shit lol.
Just keep in mind that a 'lighter' car, does not necessarily mean it's 'better'.
buy either a ek or eg and if u don't like it sell it and buy the other :)
