problem is guys - that the big phat intake isnt held firm enough - so at these RPM's and above ofcourse the intake will shake.
Try to hold the thing down with better or heavy duty mounts - and the problem should be rectified.

dont think tats the problem ben...as yonas fitted the item for me and its very firm... :) so i was thinking more of the sucktion maybe??
my intake didnt actually come with brackets/supports. so im gonna head off to the hardware shop today/tomrw see wat i can hold my intake steady. maybe get some piping or something too :D

the problem lies in the INSTALLATION itself. The throttle cable is gettign caught somewhere - or the throttle butterfly has excess carbon buildup - did you guys re-attach the cam cover piping ? ( you need it !)Quote:

It seems to boom in the cabin, but as for vibration on the accel pedal, none what so ever.
BTW.... it is not bolted down with a bracket... jsut supported by the rubber reducer and clamps. Seems secure enough.
