Car booked in anyways, the service guy says they'll make a note of it to check it when the covers are off during the service and report back, but he's confident I can wait til next service to keep costs in check. Its a Feb '00 build so 5 years just...
My Civic is a Dec '98 and still on the original belt. It has 67,000km on it. I'll probably get it changed at the 70,000km service.
does any have a copy of the 100,000km page from the service log book? my 00' civic is sitting on 99k kms and i dont have any service books for it. i would like to see what the service should be. could someone direct me to a link or scan me acopy of it?
In hot climate places like Malay, HK, Thai etc
it is recommaned that the timing belt should be change at 60,000kms
parts and labour is also cheaper over there too :(

ditto, it is advised that timing belts be change after 5years and/or 100,000kms, which ever comes first.

40k service, timing belt and 3 wipers... LOL
my civic had done a major service by the last owner.. it cost him over 800 bucks.. dats inc Timing Belts, all Fluids change, transmittion fluids.. everythin.. Except tires that they noted down require attention.
