The K20 engine is a fantastic engine, the technology and potential power a k20 engine can make are marvelous, forget the B engine, if you can afford it go K ! and Yes it will fit !!
Regards James
^ yet i have heard of many k20a engines having problems with internals, the build quality doesnt seem as good. also for the cost of a k20a swap u could do ALOT to your b18c
K20 Engine problems do tell ! They don't like constant 8800RPM but which is why there rev limited to 8200 or 8500rpm but apart from that i haven’t herd of any engine problems with the k20 engine, and iv tuned 100’s K20 engines not 2 mention all my Hondata dealers around Australia… K20 all the way ! its the future of Honda Engines.
i can't remember off the top off my head. alsothese weren't modded engines either, they were dead stock other than like a mugen intake or someting.
anyway will ask him and get back to ya
Mugen intake on a standard ECU on a standard DC5, unless the engine hydo locked it should have lasted many many many years....the K20 is very very strong, although anything can happen…
Regards James
GSI-PSI has prob misheard but no im not doing a k20a dc2 but it is a hybrid dc2
yer i think i did misunderstand lol oops
BLKCRX do you know what sort of modding it would take to put the k20a in DC2 and price exclueding front cut???
would it be easier to do than h22 conveersion
wtf?!??!??!?!!!?Quote:
