width of rims matters . And , 205x50x15 will not be the same sidewall height as 195x50x15.
Isnt the "profile" a measurement relative to the width of the tyre - that is , in %. ( so 195x50x15 - the "height" of the rubber will be actually 9.7cms. , where as a 205x50 size will be 10.2cm in sidewall height.
whats the width of your rims ?
you guys have to remember that its not just the width of the tyre, thats important, but how they fit over your rims
never put 195's on a 7'inch rim.. looks silly and i dont think its legal
No flame intended, but to be honest I think way too much thought is being put into this.
What does the tyre placard inside your door say the stock tyre size is (assuming you have stock rims)?
