Yeah, the sunroof contributes to the slightly heavier weight of the EK4 compared to the EM1.
All EK4's came standard with sunroof (not 100% sure), but the sunroof wasn't even a factory option from Honda for the EM1 :thumbdwn:

In wheels magazine etc, the CRX is quoted to be faster than the Civic VTiR. The Civic had a 0-100km/h of 8.8. After over 20 tests of this with a GTECH pro we measured it to be between 7.5 and 8secs flat. They also quoted the CRX has 158HP compared to the Civic of 160.
I agree with SPEEDCORES response :)
It is also important to note that by the CRX being a Targa does NOT make it lighter. The chassis is heavier because it has more reinforcements to prevent flex and body roll due to it not having a structure of those cars with a hard top.
The NSX and NSXT is a prime example !
so whats faster then?
dont think the EK4 is heavier than the EM1
EM1 is heavier than the EK4
no doubt

well i know for a fact that my 96 del sol is slow.
driver maybe?
i race at PI every month on sunday with my project car. average. 2.00.34, 1.59.48, 2.02.09
dude... isnt the ek4 1100...... the EM1 is 1114... i remember its 14kg heavier....
I dont think u can compare it on the track as it got different geometries...
The ek4 would be equivalent the em1/CRX down the straight.
Its so close that driver/tyres would decide the winning faith... the car wouldnt be the blame.... you better off blaming your fat ass or crap saggy rear springs.......
Around the track the EK4 naturally better... well designed for track... EM1 isnt too bad after some suspension work... CRX forget about it..
EK4 backweight ontop of wheel (natural neautral steer)
EM1 Back weight too far cause oversteer (can be corrected lookat the dc2s but not natural)
CRX sucks ass..
Yes. thank you.Quote:
