Does anyone know what the inlet/outlet size is for the stock resonator (DC4)?
To just gain a lower exhaust note is it worth it to buy a cat back or just replace the resonator (for a budget)?

youre better off getting the cat back, not just for the noise but a bit of power too.
...Just Sound. Only have to do the Axle-Back. That's where all the sound difference come from.
I know, because I bolted on the Alxe-back part on the OEM system, while waiting for the Headers to show-up. Nice sound difference, that didn't change the sound much after the rest was updated. (Except on Vtec...WOW).
AXLE BACK - Changes sound....not much else.
CAT BACK - Possible power freed-up.
Full System - Definate power & responce upgrade. If done with the right parts (of course). :cool:
definately go with the aftermarket one... its heaps cheaper and it'll do the same job as the oem one.... plus no one will see it unless they do a full inspection
