sounds sweet as dude. hondas r nasty lil things when they let rip
how much did the system set ya back?
i messed up with it so it had to get redone. but cat bak was bout 650
need a new cat too,
i think your feeling is right ,that doesn't sound right, the car comes stock with 140 hp,so 15% of loss, should be 119 whp to start with, so obviuosly some thing is wrong , you mentioned you used a type R header, when i went to buy my aftermarket header, the one for type r's is different from the one for gsi, the size for gsi is smaller. not sure if that's one of the reasons.
also this is th list you can do to recover the power loss issue
Timing Checked, timing belt
-PCV check
-Valve Adjustment
-Distibutor Cap Change
-Rotor
-Fuel Filter
-Vacum Hoses Check
-Flush Radiator, get a all metal radiator
-Check head gasket (can cause low compression which = lower HP)
Hopefully those can help you a bit
in my experience, most fwd hondas seem to show closer to 18% drivetrain loss. Which in this case, would be about 114 whp stock. Those mods, especially with the larger exhaust that's counter productive, could quite easily only make 5 whp.
i new the exhaust is too big for NA, ill get my turbo soon hopefully
2.5" is too big IMO.. 2.25" is perfect... nothing more... nothing less
ohhhhh and i think u need to upgrade yur butt dyno :D
