but honestly...i've only seen mid 15s for stock DC5R
they hardly ever get low 15s
low 15 is achieveable for stock dc5r , not 14's, I just can't believe it
Actually I just remembered he had a BC3 cat back... but that alone will not cut it down from 15.5 to 14.8...
???stock dc5 15.5??are you sure??? i would think 15 flat will be more believeable
My Mates Stock DC5R done a 14.7 down the 1/4 At WSID. I haven't raced mine but im sure i could even beat his time as I am a Better driver lol. I don't know how ppl could get a 15 with a DC5R, that to me is embaressing to us Type R owners! It's either a 14second bracket or take the Type R badge off!
what are you guys on about?!?
a stock DC2R does mid 14s does it not?
low 14s if he/she is a good driver
a DC5R is slower in a straight line than the DC2R...
so at best, it may do high 14s or low 15s...
for the "AVERAGE" driver, why is it not possible to be doing 15.5s in a stock DC5R?
i've seen many
depends on the 1/4 mile location, uphill and downhill affect the time slip as well :)
sorry to be a little off topic but im guessing the DC5R's weigh a decent amount. Some of the K swapped EG's have killer times even with only light mods.
So i wonder if u stripped a DC5R of its interior, what it would run with the mods mentioned by BLKCRX? Im not sure but I think it would make a considerable difference...
I've done 14.66 wih only hardened engine mounts in my dc5 :)
What kind of engine mounts? Im sure it helped with the axel tramp?Quote:

I still have no axle tramp through :)
