What engine is in CRXs

Depends - have RAC perform an inspection on the car - if it passes without any major engine problems you should be ok. Ive gone to inspect what was advertised as a B16A for $800 and it turned out to be a D16A8 - the guy insisted it was a Bseries as someone told him but after a quick talk he changed his mind - simply being told the wrong thing in the first place he was certain he was correct.

Buy the car for the CAR - do your own inspection, use your knowledge - what we've told you here is correct to the picture supplied. Given that - you can probably get the price dropped a bit because its not a VTEC.

let us know how your mate is going with the purchase.

just show the owner the engine code on the block ?

and possibly on registration too ?

yeh the block should either say
d16A8 or b16a along with a few numbers.

if THAT pic is THE pic of the engine bay - THERE IS NO WAY IN THE WORLD that engine is a VTEC... lets get real here! there is NO 'maybe'.

in my thread on my car "my sir" in appearences you can see how much room a small vtec motor takes up in a crx! SHE is bullshitting
