Honda's only have 3 engine mounts?

My point exactly, it has a front engine mount, as the engine is on the drivers side... Why would Honda develop a front engine mount after years of not fitting one?? The front one is an engine steady or intertial damper, many RWD cars use one between the head and a strut tower... stop the turbo or intake manifold from hitting the struts.

I actually believe that most factory mechanical engineers would place human life over engine damage, from a design point of view. It is a good concept and deserves credit but as with most frontal collisions, the chassis rails get bent long before the motor is terminally damaged = write off.
