before you go spending money on new tyres, try cutting lead washers to place between the top of the strut and the body. lead was ued in older cars as packing between body and chassis to reduce road noise and absorb shock. you can get the lead sheet at hardware stores. it is used for roof sealing. use the strut top as a template.
