static noise coming from speakers when engine is on

are you running amps?

even if your not running amps you NEVER run tweeters with out crossovers or at least a cap to cut off the low frequencies or you might as well destroy the tweeters yourself with a hammer :)

Haha, like George said; you don't want to go removing the crossovers all together or else besides removing that annoying sound you'll remove all sound ever coming from that tweeter again. ;)

ohkiez, i took off the tweeters and crossovers. still there *tears hair out of head", any other suggestions?

who in their right mind would run tweeters with no cross over?

if the amp running his speakers has the power cable and rca cables side by side each other can give u engine noise and mayb static noise comming out of your speak.

or mayb its just a wire thats touching something..

i used to just rewire my whole system when i couldnt find the problems but just depends if your upto it
