anyone know the deal with the 15 year rule then
i dont get how CRX's can be imported unless you can because they are 15 year old cars?
I might be interested in getting a nice 89+ integra xsi (b16a) in a couple of years then.
xsi's are actually the rare B17a!
is ther any chance of me having a JDM DC5R??
Hey Dxs!! thats wat i wanted to do aswell.
the jdm spec accord coupes with the h22a or the f20b motor in it. damn would be a nice car.
jnr_teggy.. na GEN2 Xsi's are b16's..
b17's were only released in yankeeville if i recall correctly.
so does anyone know if 15 year old cars be 'mass' imported?

omg that car = horn
yellow makes it = even more pimpage.
That pic there shows why i have been toying with the idea of going yellow
There is no limitation on importing 15 year old cars irrespective
of wether it was sold here or not.
New rules about to come into play will mean that the cars will have to be exactally 15 years old to the month.
ie. Manufactured 6th month 1989 model cant be imported until 6th month 2004
Ignoring personal imports, the only other way you can import say a JDM DC2 type R or DC5 for that matter is as a race car only.
But you need to have the following:
Current CAMS C3 license minimum
Record of recent racing activity
Car club membership
Plus more....
i would so love to get the accord coupe.
anybody know the reason honda oz doesn't bring it in??
