guys reply only if u can help with the actual question.... This is to do with excess smoke coming from the exhaust.
Try what i mentioned earlier and make sure there is not excess oil in the sump - N/A - i think that might be normal blow-by gas as the engine was under load and at an angle too ?
my car does the same.. when i floor it smoke comes out the back.. but only when i hammer it..i was thinking the same thing...
a compression test can also tell if you ur piston rings are gone too yeah?
usually abit of smoke blows at upper RPM's as excess fuel being burnt off from the ECU running rich- black in colour.... if its any other colour do reply.Quote:

yeah, i'm swinging in same opinion. make sure your'e oil levels arent too high. does the smoke come out at WOT or just when it backs off? if only when backoff i would say its blowby. when the throttle shuts there is still a high vacuum at high RPM in the IM. this causes a lot more gas to come from the crankcase via the PCV than usual.
but do get a compression test/ leak down to be sure
just compression test it and post the results. Could be valve guides or something.
my smoke its sorta blackish white....
more towards the black...

checked the oil level and its about 4-5 mm above the top marker. so its overfilled. probably got a little excited topping upt the oil before the dyno.
i will be changing the oil on saturday. probably 10w40 weight elf oil. to be safe i won't be driving the car till then. will probably take it back to hannys to do a compression test. i would do it myself but dont have the tool/gauge.
to see if the smoke has gone should i:
a) put it back on the dyno?
b) drive it and have a mate follow from behind?
i reckon you should have it back on the dyno again
