I know of another dozen individuals using the same wastegate as I am using, not one of them has had a problem.
Lets not turn this into another SSAC debate, 99% of what they make is absolute crap, but this wastegate has been working for me and others :)
yeh if i go to an external gate ill prolly use a turbosmart ultra-gate 38 as with the ECU ill more than likly use a microtech ecu.
You can also get genuine Garrett T3/T4 (in different sizes) turbo chargers off honda-tech, brand new for around the US$500 mark.
I personally would just go for a Tial. They work wonderfully and aren't overly expensive. I don't see any other reason to go any other way for an external gate.Quote:

cheers.
the diaphrams ont he ssac tial knock offs are known for ripping. Hardly an installation problem. They very rarely have the proper spring with them either, but that's more of a packagers stupidity than a product issue.Quote:

they are probably as good as eachother... as long as the are real
yeh no point doing it cheap the first time only to relise that you have to do it properly the second time and spend more money on it again.
they're about US$220 out hereQuote:
