i have original box with after market panel filter. then i feed a pipe from the box to behind the bumper where the openin is.
thats cheaper then a CAI and keeps engine bay stock.

Yes it is well worth it on the b16a motor. Speak to ghost, he runs basically what you are wanting to run and he will tell you how his car runs now after tuning with the vafc.
remember most of the gains with the vafc isnt from altering the vtec, its from adjusting the AF ratios.
MSG Chi on this forum. He runs my CAI and it gives power throughout the powerband. Its all about the size and length of the piping, trust me :) Much better then a airbox and filter with a CAI feed.Quote:

ANd no need to spend 500 on a CAI when i make a copy for ozhonda members. check my sig.
Will this fit a del-sol though??? All these websites talk about the EG, Ek & DC's but nothing on the DelSol B16a2? Is it a replica engine bay???
Im interested in getting one of your kits...
Honda parts are mostly interchangeable, delsol is an EG based chassis, therefore Weq's CAI will fit.
the eg civic and del sol engine bays are slightly different around the area where the intake would dive into the bumper. The cai's generally aren't interchanable in this case as far as I'm aware.Quote:

I might be getting the V2 from AEM, and a vafc or similar and getting it dyno tuned with some advanced timing (maybe the aem cam gears)... just for now... cheap & easy method of getting small amount of power out... try to open up the car a bit...
Ferrari... i need some lightweight rims man :)
We are going track early feb...
