Just an Idea.

I don't know about the signature advertising restriction (Can it be proved that people are spamming in order to 'show off' their signature?), but dividing the For Sale section is most probably going to be more trouble than its worth IMO

i love the 'disable signature' feature.

in 99% of cases its for private items (not business related) and it's not spam.

i think if it's just someone trying to unload whatever left over bits and pieces he has it's cool. it helps out whoever is buying too.

IMO removing it would be a lil TOO mod-nazi-ish :thumbdwn:

if a member is posting unrelated spam everywhere they should get a warning sig or no sig :thumbsup:

You only need 1 rep (+ time preiod restriciton) to become a member. To get 1 rep point you only have to help someone else out by answering a questions that someone else asks or posting some good info.

I understand its hard at the moment as there are only a few users who can hand out rep points........but once it catches on and more people can hand out rep points.....it will be easier to become a member. but prob should make a new thread for that!

i believe this is going to be hard to do as time passes by especially for noobs like me. You see noobs like me come to forums like this to learn things and gain knowlege, in Ozhonda's case Hondas. so we ask questions and other members answer it. But if another person asks that same question i wont be able to help him or her out because everyone else would just tell them "search is your best friend". so sooner or later most of the general question will be answered and only th technical ones will be asked. But how can a complete noob answer something like that when he or she doesnt know how to answer it himself/herself making it harder for noobs to become member.
