I dont think u need it for dc2. Check the table on http://www.xspeed.com.au/shop/produc...oducts_id=1628Quote:
btw what is upper mount??? is it needed? and any one knows of places to get them babys in cheap but good?
Compare it to dc5

Dunno what it is but it's useless for ek and perhaps for dc2 too by looking at that table.

still thinking about tein SS. it looks abit far for me money wise. but all i hear is good stuff from it.
how would ppl rate the koni yellow shocks with stock springs, any good?? becoz money aint rolling in as expected.
thanks guys
I'm thinking about getting tein ss as well (from edw-R) and thinking about getting EDFC (Electronic Damper Force Controller) for $650 which only compatible with tein i think.
Some ppl I know who use koni shocks, also use super low king springs.
Koni + stock spring won't give you the low look u after. So if you get super low springs as well, you'll get the low look and better handling.
Spend a little extra on tein and you won't be dissappointed
so koni isnt that low with stock.? i just want it to be like 1.5 fingers of clearance from the tyre to the guard. and i aint gonna be hard core on the tracks. matter of saving i guess, schools coming up and all that expenses $$$
dc2 vtir or dc2 type r? because if going tein ss for a vtir you will need lower control arms to suit. i believe edw-R has it bundled (tein SS + lca) for $1580 or so.
konis with stock springs will lower your car because of the adjustable perches, will go straight onto your car, not having to worry about lcas. from what youve said, i think the konis are more for you, but imo teins are better overall.
thanks egads yeh its a vtir .i dont wanna spend too much money on it as i have my rego coming in and mummy aint gonna be paying for it :( . oh well iam gonna be getting the konis and stock spring set up for the moment. thanks guys for the input as it helped alot.
any1 know where edw-R has gone to? he hasn't been around lately. I need to order tein ss from him, he's the cheapest, tein ss costs $1900 in perth
email him, it's the only way you'll get to him.
after thinking about it, i think i'm gonna move away from tein ss now and save some $$ for my audio. I've been quoted
What do you guys think???Quote:
I would suggest that the best way to spend your funds is with a good,
solid base of four Lovells "Sport Low" springs and 4 KYB gas shocks. The
springs will give your Civic a lower, sportier look and a slightly firmer ride
for improved handling and road holding - without rattling your teeth out. The
Japanese manufactured shocks will control the springs to make the package
complete. Including a wheel alignment to set it all up right, you're looking
at $1,160.00.
cant get that in melb can ya?????
interested
they must have it in melb, let's face it melb is bigger than perth. But if they don't go http://www.wasuspensions.com.au, maybe you can buy the susp. package from these guys.
I've no idea about KYB gas shock and lovells springs but my research shows they are good. That's why I need opinions from you guys.
