well sounds like ill be getting a euro. but i have one last question fellas im getting an auto. Is it still fast as the manual 0-100 in 7.6? or is it slower if so why is that auto cars are very slow than there manual counterpart. Is there a sports shift in the auto option. And yea i am definetly gettin an auto. please help.
by sports shifter im assuming you mean a tiptronic type (+ - gear) system?

Sorry to break it to you Faiz but the auto is a fair bit slower than the manual. The auto is a 5 speed - the manual is a close ratio six speed. The manual is also a lighter car (at 1395kg for the standard).Quote:

That overtaking time is pretty good for an auto. The best the Subaru Liberty can do, for example, is 7.1 seconds for 80-120
You may be able to get just under 9 seconds (0 to 100kms) in a broken in car with some decent kms on the clock.
The auto times are not too bad - the Lexus IS200 with an auto is 0--100kms in 11.4, BMW 318 - 11.3seconds.

Auto is slower than a manual, for sure. If u can drive a manual or don't mind a manual, get one. However, the auto box in the Euro is still damn good imo. I prefer the 6spd anyday. This is from an auto Euro owner :)
well i will definetly getting the euro. its a beautiful car. 9 seconds is a bit slow but there is always the option in some auto to shift gears manually? i call it sports shift but some one said its called triptronic? never heard of trip tronic before but i am pretty sure its called sports shift. The ones that are in magna and all. ill try to look tis triptronic up. thanks for the advice, 9 seconds isnt all that bad as long as it handles good.
its not neccisarily called tiptronic, its just what I know it as :)
I've heard it being called sports shift, but I was just trying to clarify in case you were reffering to what you see in other cars sometimes, it is a button which in effect changes revs the car at higher RPMS to make it move that little quicker.
Commonly reviewers call them tiptronic

I guess it's a late reply, but Wheels tested Luxury 6MT for 0-100 dash at 8.1 seconds. I did tried mine and I got 7.8 but that's using a normal stopwatch and I don't think it's accurate :D
