no i dont think you can effectivley convert ur d15b into a EFI powered car...its not cost effective anyway.Quote:

Or maybe look for a front cut from an Si or Vti and transfer the engine/efi into ur car.
nahhh i was put off by what my friends say about d series 'carby' engine and u cant get much from them soo might as well start off with a little better base then my current engine
well mate by the time u convert your shit box twin carby motor :p
you would probably buy a B16a straight out
lol it cant be that expensive

The 130HP Si engine (D16A8) is actually quite quick in your 1050kg Civic (expect 8sec or less 0-100km) - plus these engines are much cheaper than a BSeries. It'll be much quicker than your 1.5 SOHC carby thats4sure.
Worth thinking about...
And yeah, "Just drive ur car into the groudn and save save save save for a conversion etc."
hrmms yeah i was after that vti and turbo'ing but then my mate .. told me off for sacrificing handling for more hp :( and yeah it was much cheaper option then b16a with n/a mods
Andrew21 and krassvy did a SOHC VTEC convertions into their carbies
and i believe they got it done cheap.
i recontly did another B serise conversion
but not cheap. getting too dear these days.
cost are
150 for the EFi tank
110 for the EFi lines
400 for the rear brakes ( recomended)
3.5K for the B16a halfcut (EG)
so that's your basic price guide.
of course there was no labour as i did it myself.
but dudue seriously your joking if your gonna change your twin carb to EFi.
not a good idea.
save up and get a EFi engine and everything
or go for the b serise
ps. turbo handling be suffered as long as u know how to drive it
hrmmz if u have done it urself .. i was wandering what tools are need besides the obviously like a good spocket set, screw driver set, engine hoise ,jack , jack stands??
plus i found a b16a2 w/ 108,xxxkms on it for 2g's
it includes;
Engine
Wiring Loom
Ecu
Extractor
Front brake and caliper
but im not sure what else ill be needing
i had a chat with the guy on the phone but not sure if thats it .. i heard the gearbox on b series are like stuck on the back of the block but not to sure anyone want to clear it that up for me?
