legalities wise , yes it is better to chuck on a OEM filter leaving the less chance of a stuff up via DIY servicing...but in the real world IMO Others are "universal" and no doubt wont be as nice n tug as a OEM item.
Get honda stuff MADE for honda engines :)

OEM filters have much better filtration element inside than aftermarket filters.

also better sealing mechanism, for example,

4 time out of 10, when you remove a aftermarket filter, the O ring will stay on the block increasing the chance of double sealer. where as an OEM filter, 10 out of 10 the O ring will be on the filter when you take it off, if for some weird reson and im not saying it will never happen, that the seal stays on the block with an OEM filter, it probably because it was overtightened or someting.

I have never had a OEM seal stuck on the block. still always check.

plus very little chance of the OEM filter leaking.
also if you have the corect tool, you will always get the OEM filter off, none of this screwdriver through the filter action.
