how do i search for yonas, sorry i am new here... maybe i can even trade in my old set... they pretty much brand new...
yonas is the name of a guy on the forums, his nick is 'EG5' and he is trading as JDM yard in the traders section.
i've found falkens to be pretty crap. i got some BFGoodriches and they're heaps better, no complaints for what they are =)
I used to have the falken 502s on my car...and they were crap in the wet...aquaplaned all the time, and no grip. My cousin and mum had the 326's on their cars, and no good in the wet as well.
I've stopped using falkens years ago. Not sure how the fk451's are. they are supposed to be good in the wet, but haven't tried them. Stick to dunlops atm.
thanx for that panda.... just one more quick question, is it worth trading them in and getting another set??? or is it worth more to sell them privately?? How much do u reckon i could even get?? lol i mean they are about 90-95% tread on Falken 205/45/17ZR ZE-326.... some mates of mine reckon i'd be lucky to get $30 a tyre.... :(
Adam
yeh, maybe if you find some sucker to buy them that doesn't know anything about tires or isn't into performance, You'd get more than $30 bucks each for sure. I think I picked mine up for $160 a tire, but that was a few years ago. So maybe half that price and add some. It should sell pretty quick, I think your best bet is to EBAY them.
Sorry i couldnt be ****ed reading the whole post but i have falken 215/40/zr and they're FALKEN ZIEX. One of the cheapest and shittest compund tires. I would not recommend these tires to anyone unlesss you have no money. The compouns is crappy and hard as a rock. In the wet launchin at 2 rpms im wheel spinning into 3 some times 4th gear depending how wet it is. And in the dry launchin at 3rpm i get wheel spin.
Alot of people on this forum have the same tires and all of us suffer the same problem
BTW you should try doin twisties/track in them they're quite dangerous but also quite fun to if you understand the tires and how ur car handles.
sorry to bring up an old thread, i just wanna let every1 know that in the end i bought new Fulda Excelero tyres (2 x $220each), they are german and they have insane handling in the wet!! really good, cant believe how well they brake also....i was in a death trap before!! lol im sellin my old falkens on ebay for $80 for the both of them!! Anyway just recommending fulda and thanking every1 for their help!!!! :)

Sorry again to bring up the old thread but thought I'd thank Adza33 for the recommendation. As I said in my previous comment I'd looking at new tyres and been researching so many and Fulda was near the top of my list. I think because of the price and recommendation (my father in law also uses Fulda on his SS) I'll go with them.
I was gonna pick Goodyear Eagle F1 GDS3's but they don't import them in 205/55 R16 anymore :( only 50 profile down.
Ur welcome mate!! I sold those tyres for $91 off ebay! yay! and tot hink that bob jane t-mart guy was gonna keep them and also charge me $2 disposal fee!!! ha!
Regards Adam
could try the new falkens fk452's.... have them on my car and previously owning Bridgestone g3 and s03's, I havent had any problems with these yet.... great handling in the dry.... havent tried the wet yet...
