yeah but i want to try and find why its wet then fix it if i find it...the sunroof idea i will investigate more into but if anyone has anymore ideas in what would cause my floor to be wet like it is then please let me know what it could be and how you think to fix it
yeah give the sunroof thing ago, as well as the windscreen... thats ur 2 most likely options.

i wish i could be so lucky...these kind of things never work out easy for me, hopefuly its only the sunroof and a good bike tube patch can fix it right up, hopefully not the windscreen
Used to drive a Magna & had a similar problem but I had about an inch of water sloshing around in the front passenger foot well. Unable to find a definate source of the problem but the only thing I suspected was leaking windscreen.
By pulling off the plastic strips that cover the seal between glass & metal it looked like there was moisture in there. I found my pressing the windscreen there was some movement.
You may also want to ensure there is no build of gunk at the base of the windscreen. This may be covered by plastic guards but I found I had accumulated a bit crap down there which may have prevented the water being drained properly.
If you havent done it already I would recommend pulling the felt (carpet underlay out) This stuff wont dry easily & is what will cause your car to get smelly.

ok...thanks to all you guys for your input, like i said i was going to investigate this weekend into my leek.
i pulled out all the interior (front seats, most interior panels) and pulled back the carpet, after ripping out the underlay crap under the carpet (smelt like wet dog), and having to cut out some of the sound deadener (soaked up most of the water, would have never dried)(will have to replace with something) i got down to it and used ECU-Man's idea...running water into the sunroof found it wasnt that, the water ran out perfectly down the tube and all over my garage floor...
thinking smarter this time i moved my car out onto the driveway and hosed slowly around the windscreen and found that it leeked into the car at the top drivers side corner, rang up earlier today and found a place to re-seal the windscreen for $95, they cut it out re-seal and put back replacing the glue adhesive...in the yellow pages the add said 24/7, so i asked if they could fix it today and the lady told me on the phone because its a sunday the same thing would cost $210 :eek:
booked in for tomorrow...problem solved

$95 providing they dont crack the windscreens, which apparently is a high factor in :honda: because they are glued in place good...if windscreen cracks or worst case smashes then it would cost $190.
God was on my side and the windscreen came out prefect, not even and scratch from the guy craming his stanly knife into it, i was scared he was going to shave off some piant or cut into my interior (it looked like it got close) but he obviously new what he was doing
Leak fixed, not more wet carpet everything put back into the car after a good clean...smellin fresh :cool:

ya i got he same problem. but is on both sides of the car passanger and drivers will try out the ideas in this thread. hope i can sort it out as easy as u did lol..

sounds more like your windscreen than your sunroof if you have one...to check it what i did was pull out all your interior (front seats, center consoles) then you can pull the carpet back and just get inside with a torch like ECU-MAN said and get someone to spray just the windscreen, all round the edge...when you see leaks tell waterer to stop and that will tell you windscreen, i just went through the yellow pages to find different prices and i got a reasonble price with a good gaurantee/warranty........Quote:
