Is it a big deal whether you're a Member or Newcomer?

not particularilly but i was just wondering why i was still listed as a newcomer,i admit i will never be real useful on here as hondas arent my thing..but i have been here a while and i thought that might have counted...

im no tech head or car guru, but i too try to contribute as much as i can, all i know about are 4th gen preludes but with very little/intermediate knowledge. yet i've been registered for over a year and have not really complained about my status, but now i feel as it is time for the mods to review ME for my newcomer to member changeover :)

if i dont qualify, i understand
