k20a has alot of potential for mods, not impossible to do.

the h22(JDM spec) makes 147 at the flywheel. the AUDM model, the h22a makes 143kw at the flywheel, not 147.Quote:

Doesn't the k20 have even less torque than the h22a? the higher revving unit will not suited to the heavier prelude.
Don't forget with the NSX engine you will need to think about drive train, i.e. gearbox etc and the differences between MR and FF, should pose some major complications not to mention 207kw powering the front wheels without LSD!
Go supercharge (its the new trend - look at the new Mugen Civic) It'll maintain the charactersitics of the NA reponse too.
the k20 will have alot less torque but the K series engines respond soooo much better to mods and tuning than the h motors. i dont think itll be ideal for the lude, neither should the NSX even be an option unless u have money falling out of ur pockets their so full. even then i would buy an S2k , go full rebuild with a hadcore toda stroker kit with hondata and only the best bolt ons money could buy...but this is a prelude forum
i would say the h22a would be a great option, if ur really serious u should build an all motor beast, get a kinda run down motor and just build it from the ground up then u could possibly even go supercharger, but plan for this ahead as different internals will produce better gains in different circumstances.
