nice write up!
i shall do this after exams too, i think mine needs a good clean out!
i did this clean and my idle sits at 2K
i noticed the rpm was at 2K... then later on dropped 2 1.5K...
should i reset the ecu... ???
nice work..
thinking of doing this, would it be better to completly remove the tb and clean it? im a little wary of washing the gunk off my tb into the engine, should i be or am i just paranoid?
i reset my ecu and my revs are still holding at 1.5K... wasnt doin it b4 i cleaned my tb
should i try and clean the iacv??? or adjust the throttle??/
no dont adjust the throttle yet, if it wasnt doin it before it shouldnt do it now, once u've reset the ecu should be ok
did u reset the ecu right, ie take out the backup fuse as well?
did u let the car idle for a while to get use to the clean TB?
is the car trying to warm up from a cold start?
drive around for a while, let the car warm up and get up to normal operating temp(engine fan on twice) before u do anything
