What ever you decide to do, make sure you install correctly. Installation is the key. $300 front stage installed correctly will sound better than $1000 front stage which has been just slapped in.
Dynamat (or similar) required in key spots. No need to plaster your whole car with the stuff. I did my two front doors (inner and outer skins) with only one and a bit wedge packs.
i say go for the V2's, if you like the sound of your mates integra then go for it, plus i have the V2's in my teg and it sounds awsome!!! hehehehe

I had a chance to audition some splits few days ago, and am now deciding b/w the V2 or the Boston SL60.
Just a quick question on the V2's. With my current 165A1's, there's this angled housing for the tweeters which allows them to be mounted in the sails in the doors. Do the V2's come with the same optional housing?
However, Im going to firstly sound deaden my front doors + boot before I decide to change the front stage, especially now that I've found that its not the speakers themselves which are lacking midbase...but there seems to be a fault on the driver's side whereby the midbase is extremely quiet...which im going to look into with Marty (from FHRX) on the weekend
