well I baught my EG5 Si import at 111000 it had sensor trouble (one broke down and led to another) at around 130000 and its been running perfectly all the way to 151000. Been a good strong engine/box, lasted through my learner years and 9 months while i've been on my Ps. Had it for like 2 years 3 months now.

It's not an EG, but IMO milage doesn't matter - it's how the car has been treated.
My '90 SiR had 168,000kms on it when I bought it - now it has 278,000 and by the end of June will have hit 280,000. Thats the original factory B16A that I have revved the crap out of more than once. No problems with the motor except for noisy valves - no burning oil or oil loss, compression is spot on as of a test 2 months ago.
Check the log books for regular services (between 5000 and 8000kms is best). I f I saw that, I'd be happy with the car as long as compression, oil seals etc were ok.
