it kinda does koz its got paint all over the the brake pads and its guides

so when he changes pad it wont be pleasent

why not just take the rotor and caliper off ... doesnt take dat long

Just get spoon calipers and you'll be fine

Use masking tape to cover everything you dont want to paint. Any overspray will go onto the masking tape and you wont have to worry about it?

Oh, plus you should always use proper brake paint, coz it can handle the heat and brake dust and crap a lot better.

you really have a messy job .. though is a nice spoon colour :) ... paint are every where in ur brake disc dude...

U should also cover the screw threads, u dont want the paint to seize up the bolts.

This is pretty dodgy guys, but I did use proper brake paint and tried to mask as well as possible without any newspaper in the house! New rims arriving soon.

I just wanted to add that Ghetto /= Dodgy. Ghetto looks dodgy, but it isn't. :)

Im thinkin about doing mine soon, but I wanna do it properly - removing the caliper and bridge completely from the car. Thing is, does anyone know if its safe to detach the brake cables from the caliper?

yeah sure its safe as long as you properly bleed them on replacement to make sure no air bubbles

^^ yep, the only reson i didnt to it the "proper" way is because i cbf bleed em afterwards. also i cbf takin em apart :/
