basically once i had driven the cars i was looking at and shortlisted them (it was between an astra n the civic) i took the ultimate deal-meister (my old man) down with me and we said to them that we were buying a car that day. cash.
told them the other prices and that i wasnt fussed whether i got the astra or the civic (which was true) and told them our other quotes. we told them to give us a price that would make it happen n then we went from there
i just got a sparkle gray 2007 VTI auto $26000 drive away with tint, 5yr warranty and matts. i thought it was good???
well i did some shopping around on the weekend and got quoted for the exact same thing + premium plates, $25500
both good prices. u got extra warranty and auto adds the premium. remember also that the price went up $500 for the 07 model
yeah i'm still gunna try push for a bit more this weekend though
btw does anyone think the purple civic look a bit "girly"?
cause i saw one on the weekend (dark day) and it looked awesome.. altho im a bit worried the colour is aimed at the female population lol
