is a engine oil cooler suitable for a auto transmission though?
also, what if the auto box on the transmission and temp sensor, that senses when it gets too hot, then puts the car into limp mode?
always possible.

just makin sure people know, i use the triptronic mode.
so u suggestion this problem could be caused by engine oil overheatin? greddy make oil cooler right? do they make for trans cooler as well, anyone know?
try a radiator company.. or intercooler maker..
like PWR ?? KOYO ??
or u could even ask honda re: auto trans cooler because with tow kits they usually install trans cooler with the tow bar.. but just dont get tow bar installed :D
Engine oil temperature should be alright on the track. It would be the same for both Auto and Manuals. It could be the transmission, but this happened before going on track as well. I'd say check what the CEL code is first.
Stock cooler is very small. An upgrade would be to a tube and fin cooler.
so what's an aftermarket brand except from PWR
just ask the traders there, if engine oil coolers, are suitable for auto transmission coolers.
or get a transmission cooler kit from a MDX or CRV's i'm sure you can make it fit.
any experience the B&m Hi-Tek Automatic Transmission Cooling System before? http://www.rocketindustries.com.au/d...partno=BM70297
