The K20 uses long life Iridiums that are good for 100k plus. Thats a blessing seeing that its a bastard of a job changing them.( you have to remove part of the windshield leading edge valance to get at them.
Having said that, Denso makes performance iridiums for the K20 the IK20L, so if you have the money, and accept a small improvement, thats it.
I personally find that performance iridiums do have small improvements in drivability and fuel economy(efficiency) against normal plugs.
