I hop your purely not going off redbook. I really dislike redbook. Gives out alot of misleading info.
For instant it states the ed ozzy civics with the d15b4 engine is single carb. When they are all dual carb.

im pretty sure latinahatchcrap that is selling that 1.5 VTEC has a diferent head. or something, thats why its got that little bit more power. dont quote me on that :?
What I am puzzled with is if a 1.5ltr SOHC VTEC was released in AUS or if the only ones is the JDM....
latinahatchcrap says they were only released in jap. Unless he is refering to normal VTEC and an econo vtec may still have been released in aus.

No i don't go off redbook. I go off a brochure i have on the 1.5L sohc vtec which is known (100% in oz) to be the VEi EG civic. Btw, i thought this topic is about oz hondas.
The JDM sohc vtec still exists in australia. Just wasnt in production here.
You still come across them tho. The topic is that his mate has a SOHC 1.5ltr vtec and he wants to know if it exsits. I dont see how this rules out the JDM version.
It would not rule out the JDM version but you must understand that JDM cars are rare in oz and if they do exist then there's every chance they could be a conversion and not the whole car itself. A AUDM civic with a JDM swap does not mean it's a JDM car. Anyway, the only thing for sure now is what is the engine code and is it a hatch or sedan. More than not it's the ozzy VEi.
