If you drive with flatspots, it can cause premature bearing wear. You won't be wearing them down til they are round again. Go buy 2 new tyres. The rears should be alright.

^^ Ouch  $$$
I jacked the car up,shook the wheels. All is fine.I found quite a flatspot on the front left wheel. So I'm sure that's where the problem is coming from.
Looks like I gotta get 2 new tyres then...Yeah I can't imagine that I'll be wearing that flat spot round again,it's pretty big.I can't believe how much rubber was taken off .Costly exersize :thumbdwn:.
Well I got 2 new front tyres fitted today and a wheel alignment ($345).205/17/40.
Got a couple of pics of what the problem was, check it out,I actually tore the rubber apart! plus a flat spot.

Ah she drives smooth as again.I must have been starting to get used to the knocking feeling cause now it feels so sweet.
WOW! Then again, S02/S03s are pretty soft to begin with.
Yeah forsure.Just by pushing your fingernail on it you can feel how soft they are.Is that a good thing,a soft tyre? What's the difference?
are those nankangs ?
Yup.Tyre and wheel package $1120 from Bob Jane.12 months interest free plan ftw!

lol makes me feel not-so-safe about my nangkangs.
I have the exact same tyres on my EM1 rims , and they feel iffy. Soft yes - but that isnt the best thing. I can feel these tyres sliding ( without screeching) aroudn modest hard corners
Looks like Nangkang copied the tread pattern of the S02/03.
Mine handle well.I've gone some tight fast corners.I know what ya mean though.I have slid without screaching a couple of times but I thought maybe a sway bar would help/fix that.
