HELP:Subaru WRX bucket seats for honda civic sedan gli....?

getting the recaros from the wreckers isnt that hard
but spending over 2.5k for a pair of used recaros.... hmmmm
i've seen the newer dc5 ones go for about 3-4

I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to this stuff - or anything for that matter, but I'm just saying that DCR seats or normal Recaros are more $$$ compared to WRX from what I've seen. I've seen WRX from MY96-01 go for $400 - $1000 all in reasonably good nick. But Recaros from a ITR go for much more than that (from what I've seen). They go for at least $1500 for the pair.

It's like you said Toby - ITR seats are heaps better then WRX ones - you get what you pay for I guess.

A while back I tried to put WRX MY98 seats in my Gen3 and they fitted width wise, but my head hit the roof. good luck with the install. Post some pics when you are done.

Please keep this thread on topic. This is for WRX seats in Civics. There are already sooo many threads on ITR setas in Civics.

Recaros are overpriced. This thread is for people who want to fit WRX seats to a Civic.

Ok fine. But Recaros were suggested - so I was merely comparing them with the limited knowledge I have. I do comparing other bucket seats is still on topic. :)

Although i have to agree Recaros are WAAAAAAAAY over priced. :x
