yeah its like an Eeeeeeeee noise whistle lol i just sit there and whistle with it...

i get it too? happens on gear change or when u take the throttle off?

its more pronounced since i got a service done too. think coz they cleaned the air filter.

well if you have a pod in it its gonna whistle. nothings wrong with your car and yes its normal. mine does it alot and if it gets annoying thats what music is for.

the noise can only be heard from the inside of the car right?

If that noise you hear sounds similar to a spraying noise it might be a tiny air leak in the exhaust. The noise is probably coming somewhere near the headers. Usually when theres a leak on the axleback (at the end of your exchaust), the sound it would produce is a deep sound and when theres a leak near the header it makes a high pitch sound.

This probably happens when theres a build up of air pressure inside the exhaust and some of the air is released from a crack or the joints of the exhaust. The best thing to do is taking it out to a exhaust shop and they'll find what the problem is.

I have an Apexi airfilter, and my car makes the same noise.
I had the car checked at the mechanics and there was nothing wrong with it.

and @D15z1SUX yeah only from inside the car.

if u can hear the whistle inside the car there should be noise outside the car too. happens to my mates dc2r too.

turns out its just my amp wiring.

my filter makes a sucking noise instead.

like poosh poosh (typing the sound out is quite gay).
when you step on the accelerator.

check your belts they could be slipping aswell, i had something very similar and it was the alternator and power steering belt

The famous Honda intake wistle...

not much can really be done unless u change the intake system...

Get a Mugan CAI :p Lol.. will cost a bit but will increase performance and get rid of the wistle...
