The crank runs the chain and hence the valves. :) The crank runs off the combustion cycles.

The stock sparkies are either NGK or Denso Iridiums, which are pretty much almost the best you can get. They last 100,000-120,000km.

If you want higher than that, there is the narrow electrode iridium, which lasts 40-60,000km or the 4-pronged ones.

I paid $245 for my 100k service at Hanny's Performance.:)

yeah, i prefer DIY because you never know what parts they use, especially if you don't go back to honda.

yeh tru.. im not sure what to do.. i think its best if i just book it in for the timing chain and anything major... sparkies and oill ill jus do myself..
