You get what you pay for. I got TE37s with RE55s for just a touch over $5k. Couldn't imagine what you get for $900 with tyres. It's all about budget though I guess.

I've got a pair of Hankook K104 and a pair of Falken ZE-329. Pm me if you're interested. They're 205/40/17.
Hmm a bit of progress from my decision on whether to get 17" wheels for a DC4
Heres some info:
"i've read that 1 lb of unsprung weight saved is like 6 lbs of sprung (regular) weight saved...so 12 lbs saved would be like taking 72 lbs off the weight of your car...that roughly correlates to like an extra 10 hp or so..."
Here is the rest of the debate

Now I'm not sure. The main reason is that they were selling the 16" for the SAME price as the 17"! So now my brain is really confused
I'm running 17s on my car and they're fine at stock height and with King Spring Lows. Although the splash guards to scrub a bit under braking/turning. Mine have been worn away.
You could cure this with getting a lower profile tyre. Although it's better to keep the stock rolling diameter.
A quick update:
Today I ended up purchasing the 17" rims these are the ones that I got for $990 with 205/40/17 80W HP101 Zeetex tyres

Very happy with purchase :D
although the tyres are looking for a change soon...
Now for my search for an ITR lip!
Change of mind... I think it really needs a drop! (suspension)
Definitely, a set of King Spring Lows will cure that. About $260 on ebay posted.
Hrmm... any for possibly cheaper?
I heard eibach springs are quite cheap.
What are the possible problems involved with "cutting" the springs (another cheapo version?)
Dammit I'm out of $$$ :(
I will take a pic for you all tomorrow to show you what it currently looks like without dropping it.
(Expecting replies along the lines of "4x4" :P)
