But 91 Octane isn't premium, 91 octane is only standard unleaded. The B16A2 needs at least premium unleaded because of the high compression. Besides, even if the premium fuel is 10c/L more and you use 2000L/year, thats only an extra $200. Be kind to your sol! :pQuote:

whats the best 98 to use? optixmax, synergy 8000 or BP ulitmate.
theres no one best fuel... its what works best with your car, but it seems B16a's run better on Ultimate.
Seeing as my '90 SiR is rated for 98 octane, the big 3's 98 is all that goes in it. Given that the EK4 VTiR's B16A is an ancestor of my gen 1 B16A, I'd be guessing premium is the only way to go to protect the motor.
