Why not support Australian distributors with the proper warranty paths?
Just pay a few extra dollars for piece of mind.
All my parts have been sourced from Aussie's - and I have had to send a couple back for fixes, without issue.

and yes, peace of mind and after sales support is a lot more important than price imo, especially if you're going to put that thing into something that has cost you many thousands of dollars.

I saw one of these Injen CAI being fitted to a blue DC5 on the weekend (at a workshop) but it didn't fit
he drives a auto white dc5 up in brissy. There's another claim of the Injen CAI not fitting on the base auto too... :S

Base model DC5 CAI kits are priced the same, though slightly different.
No listing is given for a secificly automatic base model variant.
so there's only a difference between the R and the base?
