OK
I've just grounds the D6-VTM VTEC pressure switch Light Blue, n/a using a 5k resistor
Seems to work fine :)
Can someone confirm this is OK?
Now its ****ed again
I'm losing my mind :thumbdwn:
Yeah I think I did and every time I hit VTEC the error code would back till i turned off the ignition...
I bridged the Blue and purple wires on the GReddy Harness witch are D6 & A4

Can you please confirm I bridged the correct wires?
Plus the D6 and A4 are not the colours listed
both are some like brown and orange or something close to that
Thanks man
The purple wire connected to D6 is there to fool the ecu, it shouldnt need any mods. If you want to bridge the wires you will need to do it to the harness not the vehicles loom.
Either your loom or emanage must be fautly. Have you touch tested your loom with a multimeter?
No but I might test it tonight but what I'm a looking for?
I don't think is faulty as there quite a few people with the same problem

This is what others have done
You'll need to add a wire to your harness to the VTM pin and run it to a relay using the VTS as the trigger.
The VTP voltage follows the VTS, so just wire up a relay that will trigger 12v with the VTS and also send 12v to the VTP when VTEC engages. At idle and off-vtec, the VTP needs to see 0v.
I was hopping for an easier way lol
Thats the easiest way. Without the relay, it will always throw this code.
you dont need a relay.
Find the vtec signal going from the emanage to the ECU - jump that signal and wire it to the input signal of the VTP.
DONE.
