in our sport its the k20z2
k20z3 is the one in usdm civic si with 147kw.
i would say its totally different compared to k20a and k24.

im pretty sure thats correct, most recent type R's are running the k20a, ep3,dc5r,JDM CTR and UK CTR. just wondering if anyone would know if the k20z have potential as the k20a's or even the k24 ?
K20Z2 has vtec only on the intake cam and lower compression. Don't compare it to the K20Z3 or the K20A2/K20A used in the Type S/Type R.Quote:

The diffrence between the Z2 and Z3 is similar to the difference between the A2 and A3 in the base Integra and Type R. So no, you can't just change bolt on parts or the head.... You have to change the components in the block, as well as the ECU.Quote:
